I have to agree with you there, the boot selections are sort of blah.

I'm just going for comfort and warmth now. I used to buy for an outfit or a look or an event. Warmth and comfort weren't on the list at all when I bought my thigh high black leather stiletto heeled boots (don't ask).

Round toe, pointed heel? BLECH

I kept my biker boots in great shape (once again, don't ask), so I'll go with them for comfort until something jumps out at me. Then there are the suede slouch ones for comfort and warmth.

Coming from a cold climate with lots of snow and ice I tend to stay away from the heels and go for warmth and comfort. Now that I'm in warmer climes I go more for styles. But nothing is grabbing me.

Even after giving many shoes away, I have over 200, and over half of those are boots!

:agree

Funny you should say that. I don't have a high boot count, but I have a high shoe count. I'll be the first to scream, I don't have any shoes. I went into my closet last night and there were so many shoes, I didn't know what to do. I pinpointed my problem. My shoes are outfit specific, I need to buy shoes that go with something other than one outfit or look.

The noodle thing, you'll live. I did the noodle thing forever getting through school, sometimes worthy sacrifices are really worth it.;)
