you think that instead of taking his wrath out on Jack, Ben will take it out on Juliet (in an "if-I-can't-have-you-no-one-will" sort of way)?

Who knows. We still don't know if Juliet makes it off the island or not. There is no mention of her, but she wasn't on the plane, so she wouldn't have been Oceanic #7 anyway. I doubt she leaves. It seems to me that the writers are splitting up the couples anyway, for whatever reason. Desmond and Penny, of course - the epic couple - are separated by time and space. Kate makes it off the island, Sawyer does not. Jack makes it off the island, I don't think Juliet will. I have a bad feeling about Jin surviving. I know that he's going to be revealed as one of the Oceanic 6, but I think he will die in the flash forward. The twist on this death will be that DDK will still be able to appear as Jin in the on-island timeline and possibly in any on-island FBs that happen between now and season 6.

Anyway, I previously thought that Sawyer would be the casualty, but more and more I think it's Jin. I think Sawyer's going to play an important role in the on-island revolution that is imminent. His face in the final shot of The Other Woman sort of screamed the beginning of a power shift to me. Locke has gone around the bend and there is some reason that Hurley started floating the idea of Sawyer in a leadership role last season when Jack was stuck in New Otherton. With Jack off the island and Locke "Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs", the Losties stuck on the island will need an alpha-male hunter/gatherer. I think Sawyer will fit that role.

If we're going for a Ben/Oedipus parallel, then Juliet is Jocasta and she'll kill herself. If we're going for a Ben/Norman Bates parallel, then Juliet will die at Ben's hands.

Re: Harper... I didn't research her name, but I know that Darlton love their little anagrams, so it sounds good to me. Did you research the themes of Ben's book? I know they love their literary illusions, too.

Something else I forgot... Ben and the rabbit. He was worried about eating one of the numbered bunnies. We know from the orientation video shown at comic-con that the writers will be introducing a new station this season - the orchid station - which will introduce the subject of genetic twins/clones. Obviously, Ben was numbering the bunnies because they are clones. Do we know for certain that Sayid's Ben in the FF is the same Ben we're seeing on-island? Inquiring minds....
