I was sort of bothered by Sarah telling Joe she wasted her time on him. After all, if she hadn't ever been with him, she'd never have Paige or Cooper. I mean, I understand her need to lash out at him with anything hurtful, but I hope she gets out of that mindset because I don't want her to resent her kids just because Joe's their father.

I can't say that bothered me. I know she's not sorry about her kids. Like you said, she's lashing out and she may feel that she did waste too many years on him--which is probably true. She may feel he was a mistake, even though her kids certainly aren't. Does that make sense?lol

I forgot to comment on the road trip itself. It was funny and memorable, as all Walker roadtrips are.

An interesting piece of info I read, (wish I could remember where) is that families that go through the death of a child rarely have a marriage that survives. I wonder if that's where they're going with this. Having been through it myself, I can see where Julia is coming from; however, we're fortunate in that our marriage continued with another baby several years later. It's one of those stories that I'm glued to...I just hope the writers do it justice.

I've read the same thing. I kind of doubt Julia and Tommy will divorce simply because they've just ended Sarah and Joe's marriage. I have to say, I don't find Julia and Tommy as a couple to be terribly interesting though. I'm not invested in them, though that would be difficult given their lack of airtime. Even now, they don't get much. The couple I'm really invested in is Kitty and Robert. Love them.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I generally find Holly's presence on this show to be forced. PW is a great actress, and I know she's KO's wife so she's not going anywhere, but I tend to find her interactions with the Walkers to be hard to fathom. I just can't buy Tommy in business with Holly, or Nora inviting her to as many family functions, etc. I DO think it is interesting that they already have Holly and Sarah snarking at each other again after their scenes in the finale where they buried the hatchet (which were somewhat unbelievable and came out of nowhere imo).

Quick shout-out to Carm: Where are ya??? I'd love to hear what you thought of the last two eppies when you get a chance. Plus- I miss chatting with you. (Still no internet at work, though unfortunately, even if I did, I couldn't make a whole hour of chat just yet. Hopefully soon.)
