What do you mean about Jason coming back? Did I miss something? Did he leave

Well, EW is on the new show, Viva Laughlin; so, they had to write out Jason. So, he's going to Malaysia on a mission trip for awhile. But, they left the door WIDE OPEN for his return, if the show fails. Kevin is going to wait for him. I'm rather bummed. I hadn't seen enough of J/K until last night to know if I liked them, and now I know I do. (I already knew he and Robert made good brothers.)

One other thing I found fascinating: Nora wanted Kitty to ask Robert to find out about Justin because she was worried about him. Kitty said she wouldn't because it was unethical. As we find out later, it turns out she had asked him, and he'd said no: IOW- she wants him to get along well with her mom, and she *really* loves him. So, she kept that info from her mom.

It was rather unfair of her to put him him in that position (much as I understand why she did it); however, Kitty has never had a problem doing things like that. That's really how she wound up working for Robert anyway (ie saying that if he'd keep her brother from returning to Iraq, she wouldn't ask about his divorce. He turned her down.). So, it's perfectly in-character for her.

I kind of wonder what made him change his mind--that it was her birthday, that she having a horrible one, that she lied to her mom so Nora wouldn't be mad at him/out of love for him, because he loves her.....probably all of the above. But, now he's stepping out of his comfort zone a bit. This is unlike him. Interesting. I like that he did it though, that he loves her that much. (Naturally, I don't want him to change who he is, but, for both of them, some change is good.)

Can't wait to see Kitty and Robert make out on the bed. *hehehe* He is the best thing that could have happened to her, as she's also good for him.

ICAM!! Would you mind expanding on that a bit? I totally agree- just want to hear why you think so.

I can tell the Sarah and Joe scenes are going to break my heart. They are soooooooo real to life, and what I've seen in a lot of characters/couples - reel and real.

Sarah's the one who gets to me. I wanted to drop-kick Joe. He had sex with her on the washing machine; then, she realizes that's all it was: sex. He doesn't want to come home. (Btw- there's a great joke about the spin cycle and Tommy getting yelled at for blabbing. His shock was so cute. He was like since when do we not blab.lol)

"I liked the bookend stuff with Nora and Becca." What are you referring to here with this comment?

Nora's talking to Justin at the beginning, updating him on the goings-on over the summer. At the end, Becca's doing the same, saying she hopes he's okay and giving her insights into the family. Basically- Robert found out Justin was fine and is returning to base. At the end, he gets another call saying they were ambushed on the way back, and there were casualties. That's where we're left, essentially, at the end--now knowing. (Though I think we all know.)

Next week appears pretty tension filled for Kitty/Robert, Julia/Tommy, Sarah/Joe- though I know previews tend to be a tad misleading.lol

Carm, Leslie, can't wait to hear your thoughts on the episode!!
