My initial impression of this episode was: this is what happens when you have a cast this size and try to give all of them a story. There was just too much going on imo. I liked it, but they had soooo much story they were trying to push into one hour.

First off-- While I'm not a big Scotty fan, I'll admit that he's not grating on my nerves as much as he has in the past. But, I'd be perfectly happy if I never saw him again. That disclaimer being out of the way: I really didn't like how they handled the Jason/Kevin/Scotty story at all. First, Kevin cheated. Yeah, Jason hadn't called, and he and Scotty have been bonding but still. So much for monogamy. And secondly, I just wasn't impressed with how the Kevin/jason split happened or Kev's big speech at the end to Scotty. Something about it just bugged me. It's like he just got over Jason or something.

And I didn't like Kevin's dismissive attitude at the beginning when he actually invited his ex to his sister's wedding when the groom was his current boyfriend's brother. Tastless. Yeah, he was hurt, but I didn't care for it.

I really liked the scene where Kitty asked Rebecca to be a bridesmaid, especially that awkward moment where they were trying to figure out if they should hug or not. That was very real imo.

That being said-- obviously everyone knows about Becca leading Joe on....and no one cares. That kind of bugs me. It was made into such a big deal at the time, but no one really cares. Justin never did. Kitty obviously doesn't. Nora clearly doesn't given how she treats Becca. I did enjoy the back and forth between Becca and Sarah at the bridal shop and all the miscommunication there. That was a nice touch and necessary imo, but still, not much time given how huge this was last season. They almost may as well have never brought it up again.

So....Julia's back. She's clearly all better. They fixed her off-screen. I'm not sure whether to be glad about that or not. Julia's not a fave of mine; so, in a way, it's not so bad that airtime went to other characters. Otoh, it seems like the writers missed an opportunity to write for the character and allow the audience to actually get to know her.

Talk about a 180 with Holly. That's another situation I'm not sure what to make of. She doesn't make me want to throw things at her anymore. She's likable. But, now, it's like she's become the voice of the audience, which is rather hard to buy based on her behavior last season. Certainly, I like what she said to Lena and Rebecca, but I'm just not sure about this.

I'm glad Justin took the time to apologize to Becca. Nicely done.

I think the opening scene of the show was about the best part with everyone talking about their first times. I really liked how Justin greeted Robert when he walked in; it was very family-like. I loved everyone's reactions when Nora asked Robert what song he lost his virginity to. Only Nora would ask that.lol And....it showed what a looong way she's come with him. Remember the night they met was when Sarah and Joe's sex tape aired, and she tried to cover his eyes!!! He's clearly another Walker now. And Nora going off about her first time was classic. Loved how everyone just went running from that one. I loved that scene.

OMG- Nora's wedding dress was just awful imo. Thank goodness Kitty isn't wearing it. I didn't want her to wear it BECAUSE of the history of it, but I found another reason not to want to see her in it when I saw it. It was nice seeing Becca learn to just be herself with her siblings and speak her mind about the dress issue and other things. That was good. And I liked seeing Nora NOT go ballistic when Kitty came in with a different dress.

Oh, Kitty was so adorably excited when she found out about her mom's date with Stan. Cute.

It figures Kitty wouldn't be a good dancer. It was kind of funny watching her just be lost; I can relate to that. LOL when Robert commented this was going to take awhile. And it was really funny when Travis was waving that paper in Robert's face when he and Kitty were trying to dance.

I liked the storyette of Kitty being frustrated about Robert being so busy, him having done all this before, being stuck with the old dress, etc. Again, it seemed realistic. She wants her wedding to be special and a big deal.

Loved the end with him setting up a special dance for her and telling her that, yeah, he's done it all before, but with her it's new again. Awww. Her reaction to him doing all this was cute: he's nuts. But, she was really happy he did it anyway. Loved the dance. And the song was so fitting for what they'd been going through in this episode. They seemed so happy. I think that was a perfect way to end the episode: on a romantic, high note.

I can't wait to see next week and find out what Kitty's big secret is. I wonder if it's the blackmailer. That wedding better happen!!!!lol I think it will.
