I'm really shocked that the writers had her lose the baby this soon. I guess the only reason to make her pregnant in one eppy and then end the pregnancy the next was so that we could hear Robert confess that he doesn't really want any more children.

That is definitely something they need to address as a couple since Kitty doesn't have any biological children. I'm glad that the preview reveals that they'll discuss it next week. I hope Robert is brutally honest and doesn't just try to placate her.

My cousin had the same experience that Kitty had, twice. Before she had her two beautiful girls, she lost two babies around week nine, and in both instances, she didn't miscarry them. They simply died in utero and had to be removed via D&C. It must be just devastating (not that a traditional miscarriage is any less devastating).

This season seems awfully rushed to me. I wonder why the writers don't pace themselves and let storylines percolate a little longer? It seems that they'll burn themselves out and have nothing for the remainder of this season if they continue at this pace. Maybe with the writers strike looming, this was intentional? :shrug

Business is like a jungle. And I am like a tiger. And Dwight is like a monkey that stabs a tiger in the back with a stick.
Does the tiger fire the monkey? Does the tiger transfer the monkey to another branch?
Pun.
There is no way of knowing what goes on inside the tigers head. We dont have the technology.
