I thought this episode was much more solid than the last two- more in line with what I expect from this show. It wasn't overly heavy, and it flowed well.

I felt really sorry for Sarah losing the kids temporarily. She shouldn't be punished for being the breadwinner. However, it's hard for me to hate Joe too much; no one blinks an eye when a stay at home mom gets primary custody, and the breadwinner father gets every other weekend. What I disliked were his tactics- blindsiding Sarah like that and turning minor issues into big deals (like the permission slip or him having to pick the kids up). I'm sure he's not "Father of the Year" everyday either. Anyway, I don't expect Sarah to lose them for good. This was temporary. My heart just broke for her when she sank to the floor though. This was one of those times when Nora showing up everywhere was a good thing. Sarah really needed her mom.

I liked how they handled the "Kitty is pregnant" plot. Yeah, Kitty and Robert want kids, but the timing being what it is their first reaction wasn't excitement, which was understandable. You rarely see that on TV unless it's a teenage mom. So, it was nice to see them processing it first, then being happy about it. And I liked their "tiff"; they were tired, stressed, shocked, etc,. It was well done. And it led to a nice make up scene at the end, which got them talking about what they really want. Mostly, I just think these two "fit" really well together. I like how neither one makes a mountain out of a molehill when they disagree, too. Too often TV shows won't just let a couple disagree without making a huge deal out of it, rather than allowing it to simply be part of what goes on in a relationship.

One of my favorite lines was when Travis said he liked what Robert said because it made him look like a real person, and Robert said he is a real person.lol I find Travis rather amusing. Oh, and I liked how Robert handled the debate, and I loved the whole family sitting down to watch it- just like a real one would.

Nora was sooo cute when she started giddy about just the IDEA of being a grandma again. And I loved the whole "Nora running in the pantry" means everyone takes the situation seriously. So, I guess Justin was the "CNN of our family" this week.lol He just kept telling everybody about Kitty.

This is sad: I find Lena more interesting to watch than Julia.

All in all: very solid episode that held my attention.
