There was some really fabulous dialogue on Y&R today. I haven't watched the show in ages, but I had to watch Hope. I really liked her and Victor back in the day. (I'm not much of a Victor fan, but he has his moments....like the last few episodes.) Anyway, these lines really resonated with me:

Quote:
Hope: I'm not talking about money or work. I don't wanna leave you alone. You--you need someone to love you. You need to accept that love. Please don't let me die without knowing the two of you will connect that you have each other. Please.

Victor: I've lived a little longer than you have. And I know that if you don't listen to what she said, her words will keep on running through your mind for the rest of your life. And you will know no peace.

Hope: It takes time. Relationships take time. The funny thing, Honey, life just happens. Things just happen when you least expect them. You gotta learn to go with them.

All true and very well said.

Hope humanized Victor a lot. It's nice to see that kind, respectful, loving side of him again. And...he hasn't been overly pushy with Vic. I have to hand it to all three actors. They broke my heart.

They did Hope justice. She was graceful, dignified, loving, and as always, wanting things to be simple. Vic was a good son to her; it'll be interesting to see how he fits in with the Newman clan.

Um....Can Gloria go over a cliff? Please. I can't stand her, and I want her out of the Abbot house yesterday. I don't like what she's done to the place either.

As someone who hasn't seen Y&R much in awhile it was bizarre to see Nick/Phyllis/Sharon/Jack all happily talking about going into business together.

As for GH- I like Spin's '40s fantasies of him and Maxie. They're good. Looks like he's developed a bit of a crush.

Still loving Nadine. She's a real bright spot in this dark show.

I'm so tired of TMK and the HnR. I really don't care. Both stories were bad. Nothing good came out of them. I'm ready to END THIS.

And AMC--they finally did something right: Jesse and Angie.

Lastly, I had to work, too.
